Statement

Bones of Image : As gazing at the old photos, I look back on my past experiencs. Unexpectedly, som unfamiliar things in the photos capure me and a chain of questions on them arouse in my mind. However, though I reflect my past as looking back those days, my memory allows me to hold onto a piece of the entire past and remembering each moment only. Haven't I been able to see the past with my inability to remember?

I collect fragments of images which are excerpted by the traces of perception. I am not sure whether these fragements are main figures of the images or extras. But I think that they are 'bones'. This work is an agony, examination, and challenge on seeing and contemplating. It is an exploration on in what styles and frames such bones form groudless images.
